In this new series of works, aquatic atmospheres are presented - also projected in Debussy's compositions, of which La Mer is an example - due to the absence of traces or chiaroscuro that merge the viewer into this firm impulse of stains, textures and colors. It is this immersive effect that an artist seeks to create using the gesture of broad brush strokes and open composition, where movement is shown as a crucial element of human perception and experience.

For this first solo exhibition at the Carlos Carvalho gallery, Maria Condado explores visual narratives and oneiric scenarios that arise from fleeting experience with nature as well as with literature and music, namely with certain sound environments from the passage of the XIX century to the XX century.
