Plan 9 from Outer Space 3.1 (Twin Turbo) is an exhibition that takes its title from a 1957 film by American filmmaker Ed Wood.
Invoking the ethos of this director—and the film that has come to be regarded as the worst record in the history of cinema,the exhibition asserts its own imaginative framework, one that explores ideas of ambiguity and juxtaposition. In a deliberately provocative gesture, it celebrates a space of few certainties, within an atmosphere that situates references to the dream world, where science fiction and human behaviour intersect.
