OUT OF TIME illustrates the necessity of rethinking entrenched structures, reorganise established practices in the social and economic spheres and show the links with the current ecological debate. Over the last decades, and more so lately, a different awareness related to the natural environment around us is emerging. Our anthropocentric age needs to be rethought through new paradigms, which could prefigure another way of being in the world. It is therefore inevitable that art should face the most pressing ecological issues through its own tools and languages. The reflections that derive from these different fields come together, through a multitude of artistic languages (installations, photographs and videos) in an exhibition that aims to explore the relationship between human beings and the environment, and to examine the interactions between the two parties.
