Daniel Blaufuks'(Lisbon, Portugal, 1963) presents Water lily that is a result of a profoundly contemplative process, as if it is turned inward. The depth of light makes the image almost ethereal and abstract, converting this work into an intimate narrative of a moment.

Jessica Backhaus (Cuxhaven, Germany, 1970) presents Far Away but Close a set of everyday images immersed in a delicate and poetic view. Photographs are deep emotional studies that capture various moments. The artist often photographs the emotion and spirit driven imperfections through their humanity, color and expression.

All Manuel Vilariño’s (A Coruña, Spain, 1952) landscapes are emotional spaces: the artist connects the outside world using photography as a meditation process. He fuses poetry with photography, showing how can these two different paths are inseparable in his work. His recent work The Tempest puts in place key elements: ice, water, beach, sea, wind, the mountain, the dawn, of the artist’s poetic and creative universe.

Marguerite Bornhauser (Paris, France, 1989) elaborates a visual writing form filled by intense cores, graphic forms and deep shadows that narrow the difference between the real and the fictional. The artist expands all the details: plants outlines, building shadows and human bodies in which, isolated and decontextualized, are close to the abstract realm.

Noé Sendas (Brussels, Belgium, 1972), lives and works in Berlin, Madrid and Lisboa. Sendas began presenting his work in the late Nineties. Explicit and implicit references to artists and literary, cinematic or musical creations are part of his raw materials. Specific concerns about the reflection and practise of visual arts can also be added to his repertoire. These include: the body, as an entity that is simultaneously theoretical and material; the observer’s perception mechanisms; or the discursive potential of exhibition methods.
