Artistas: Catarina Leitão, Mónica de Miranda, Noé Sendas e Ricardo Angélico

 

Ricardo Angélico (Huambo, Angola, 1973) shows works from the series "Plotto" that evokes the same title William Wallace Cook’s manual (1928) for shaky writers. With almost 1500 micro-arguments, the book aims to help plots construction by the combination of a multiple dramatic possibilities. In Ricardo Angélico’s series the proposed arguments are visual rather than literary.

Catarina Leitão (Stuttgart, Germany, 1970) will present a new series of works that address the possibilities of the landscape conceived from a perspective of the physical experience and of the reflection on the paths and the horizon lines.

Mónica de Miranda (Porto, Portugal, 1976) will exhibit "Ecuador" with an image of ilhéu das rolas in São Tomé and Príncipe, where the Equator is located. Emphasizing the idea of ​​division, this work deals with the notion of Fortress Europe which is a stage of the African Diaspora, but also a world that people imagine but does not exist.

Noé Sendas (Brussels, Belgium, 1972), will present a set of intervened photographs where, once again, explicit and implicit references to artists and literary, cinematic or musical creations are part of his raw materials.
