A Play of Boundaries is the title of an exhibition that brings together recent works by ten Portuguese and Spanish artists. This selection presents a set of relevant artistic practices, while pretending to identify a generational gesture - all participating artists are under 40 years of age. Although adopting various mediums, a painting can be understood as the recurring theme in the exhibited works. All pieces play with different boundaries, frontiers, traditions, disciplines, cultures. This play provides two tenses: the individual, in the context of each practice, and the set, by the temporary dialogue produced between the works in the exhibition.
