In this solo exhibition, the artist will present recent works from the Transhistorical Places and New Architectures series, establishing a form of dialogue between two ways of communicating architecture. In Transhistorical Places, the artist overlays a personal abstract language of forms onto photography. By intervening in the photograph, he assumes the role of a painter who composes shapes and manipulates textures, adding layers of meaning. These layers give depth to the work, ranging from smooth to rough surfaces, accentuating the contrast between the real and the imagined. In this way, he highlights the pictorial nature of the image and translates the spatial experience of the building in a visual manner. In New Architectures, the artist reflects on the iconic lines of the photographed building, condensing them into a visual language.
