Tiago Casanova (Madeira, Portugal, 1988). Working mainly with photography, Tiago Casanova uses his training in Architecture as a starting point to researchand build new artistic projects, exploring different contemporary approaches using various media (such as installation, sculpture, illustration, drawing, video, sound, text and especially photography), a film ofreflection and understanding about today's cities, territories and society. Master in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (2006). In 2012 Tiago Casanova won the BES Revelation Award.
